Opon Ifa Studies journal is the journal of the Opon Ifa Studies group, which is centred in the exploration of the significance of the opon ifa, in terms of both traditional and new developments.
The opon ifa is a central cosmological and functional sculptural form of Ifa.
Ifa is the Yoruba created variant of a pan-African body of disciplines which demonstrate a global spread, disciplines that share striking similarities in organisational structure, epistemic methods and metaphysical foundations, each variant developing these shared commonalities in strikingly distinctive ways.
